Chief Executive Election Campaign

Macau’s Chief Executive Election candidate Sam Hou Fai met with ten members from the Collective Wisdom Policy Centre.

According to a statement released by his campaign office, the former top judge and the ten members of the local thinktank discussed Macau’s social environment and future development path. While expressing their “full support” for his campaign, representatives advised Sam to work on improving housing policies and the city’s disaster response.

According to the Electoral Affairs Commission for the Chief Executive Election of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the nomination period for candidates will be from August 29th to September 12th, and the election for the sixth term chief executive of the Macao SAR will be held on October 13th.
