Chavista leader Cabello appointed Venezuelan interior minister

Venezuela President Maduro announced a major government reshuffle earlier Wednesday resulting in half of his Cabinet being changed. He appointed Diosdado Cabello as the new Minister of the Interior of Venezuela, a position he already held 22 years ago. According to Maduro, the reshuffle aims to advance the necessary changes for the strengthening of the state and the country, following the stage opened by the victory of July 28.
