Charity Feast donation: Charity feast continued as 23rd day in Sittwe

The charity feast of fruit biryani and rice and curry of dried fish with potato was conducted as 24th day on 22nd of June in Sittwe township of Rakhine State where cyclonic storm Mocha affected. In the morning session of donation, totaling 7,000 meal boxes including 1000 boxes of vegetable biryani and 6000 boxes of buttered rice and chilli fried anchovies were catered and 6,500 meal boxes of buttered rice and chilli fried anchovies in the evening.

The charity feast went to the Sittwe station, Buddhist monasteries and other religious places, Nursing and Midwife Training School, volunteer groups, departmental personnel who are carrying out the rehabilitation works, technical training school, computer university renovation volunteer groups, the residents from Gantgawkyun and Alar Than villages, Ohn Taw Gyi IDP Camp in the morning and Letthama Kone , Kone Tan Ward, Thinganet , Thetkal Pyin Ywama , Pyintaw Thar Ward, Thayakone , Koe Saung , Done Pyin (North), Khayay Myaing, Bu May Let Thamar, Nga Pun Ywa Gyi Villages in the evening.

Up to the date of Charity feast’s 24th day, totaling 300,248 vegetable biryani and curry and rice meal boxes have been donated.
