Charity Feast Donation: Biryani Donation in Nay Pyi Taw continued

With the aims at showing thrivingly flourishing of Theravada Buddhism in Myanmar, for being Myanmar as a hub of Theravada Buddhism, ensuring prosperity of the State and contributing to the peace and stability of the world, the Maravijaya Buddha image, the World’s Highest Sitting Marble Buddha Image has been constructed in the Buddha Park in Dekkhinathiri Township of Nay Pyi Taw.

As the public is allowed to pay homage to the Maravijaya Buddha image from the 8th to the 16th of August between 6 am and 8 pm, the Buddha Image was also crowded with pilgrims on the 15th of August. There, well-wishers donated 13,000 boxes of vegetable biryani to the pilgrims.

In addition to the donation at the Buddha Park, the well-wishers donated 2,000 boxes of vegetable biryani to the monasteries and Zabuthiri Specialty Hospital in Zabuthiri Township, Sangha Hospital, 200-bed Pyinmana Peoples Hospital, Pyinmana Home for the Aged, Thit Lay Lone Basic Education High School in Pyinmana Township, Union Territory Nay Pyi Taw. On the 15th of August, the well-wishers donated a total of 15,000 boxes of vegetable biryani, it’s learnt.
