Chancellor Scholz welcomes Argentinian President Milei in Berlin

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz welcomed Argentina’s President Javier Milei for a meeting in Berlin on Sunday.

Their discussions are expected to focus on economic issues, particularly Argentina's raw materials like lithium, crucial for Germany's energy transition. Additionally, they are expected to address the stalled free trade agreement between the EU and the South American economic bloc Mercosur.
