Ceremony of training completion: Shan State CM awarded certificates of training completion

The Basic Sewing Training and Basic Computer Training completion ceremony of the Shan State Committee for the Elimination of Child Labor and Creation of Employment Opportunities was held at Nyaungshwe Technical Vocational School in Nyaungshwe Township on December 17.

At the ceremony, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung addressed the attendees, stating that, due to various reasons, children aged 16 to 18, who were outside the school premises, had received vocational training and related support. He mentioned that, through the financial support of the Shan State government, 657 children had been provided with vocational training in the first five years of the program, with necessary materials for their respective fields of study, ensuring that they could gain employment opportunities. This year, the Shan State government had authorized the opening of 8 types of vocational training programs with state funds. These included the basic sewing and basic computer training courses that were completed.

Subsequently, the Shan State Committee for the Elimination of Child Labor, led by the Chief Minister and the Minister for Security and Border Affairs, distributed certificates to the trainees of the basic sewing and basic computer training courses. The trainees, through their representatives, received the certificates, and one of the trainees expressed their gratitude on behalf of all trainees.

Following the ceremony, a commemorative group photograph was taken, and the Chief Minister and party visited the training facilities. They toured the training rooms for basic sewing and the basic computer training, where the trainees had crafted various materials.

After that, the Chief Minister and party inspected several sites in Nyaungshwe, including the natural hot springs, Hotel Zone Jetty, and the ongoing construction of the Indoor Volleyball Court in Nanpanနန်းပန် Town. They reviewed the sites with the responsible authorities and provided necessary instructions and guidance.

Finally, the Chief Minister and party inspected the area on the Nyaungshwe-Shwe Nyaung Road, where roadwork will be carried out to raise the roadbed. The Director of the State Roads Department, clarified the plans, and the Chief Minister provided additional instructions, coordinating necessary matters.
