Ceremony of Training Completion: MoEA UM gave a speech of training completion

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung attended the ceremony of completing basic training on Energy management jointly organized by the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and Ministry of Industry held at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 31st.

First, the Union Minister emphasized the importance of a well-structured energy management system to minimize environmental impact, enhance efficient energy use, reduce pollution and air contamination, conserve energy, and ensure energy sufficiency.

He pointed out that Myanmar is rich in energy resources, and that it’s essential to understand both the benefits and drawbacks of energy use to manage it effectively. He encouraged trainees to apply the knowledge gained from the energy management training program practically within their departments and to pass on this knowledge.

Using energy efficiently would contribute to the development of the people’s standard of living, benefiting their ministries, organizations, and society as a whole. Following this, the Deputy Minister spoke about how conserving and using energy efficiently can lower costs while helping to protect natural resources from depletion and preserve the environment.

He encouraged participants to engage actively in energy management practices at their workplaces and within their communities by applying effective and sustainable energy-saving methods. After presenting certificate of training completion to a trainee on behalf of all trainees by Deputy Director General from the Ministry of Industry and expressing words of thanks by a trainee, the ceremony was concluded.
