Ceremony of training completion: MoEA UM gave a speech at the closing ceremony

The Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung attended the closing ceremony of Early Childhood Care and Development Training co-organized by the Deparatment of Social Welfare and Department of Ethnic Literature and Culture with Shan State Government Fund held at the Shan State Director ’s office of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs in Taunggyi Township of Shan State (South) on 29th October.

In his remarks at the ceremony, Union Minister stated that although this training course appears to focus on child care and development, it actually serves as a basic foundation step for early childhood development that will benefit the future of the nation and families.

Early childhood refers to the children from birth up to the age of eight. The development of each individual citizen and family directly influences the overall development of the country. Families and local communities must continuously support the cognitive, physical, social, language, and intellectual development of all children from birth to age eight.Next, the Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung gave a remark stating that this event was jointly organized by Deparatment of Social Welfare and Department of Ethnic Literature with Shan State Government Fund and attended by a total of 54 trainees from multiple ethnic groups including Shan, Kachin, Pa-O, Inn-thar, Hta Naut, Kokang and Bama.

The experiences in the early childhood is paramount for the comprehensive development of a person. Then, the Union Minister, Chief Minister and State Minister for Ethnic Affairs provided certificate of completing the training and teaching aids for the trainees who attended and completed the training followed by the performances of Shan, Pa-O, Inn-Thar and Ht Naut Ethnic traditional dances.

The Union Minister presented cash of honor to the cultural dance groups and took the documentary group photo.In the afternoon, the Union Minister and party met with the personnel serving at the Shan State Director ’s office of the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and gave the remarks.

Then, the Shan State Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Aung Kyi Win gave the words of encouragement, the personnel reported the General matters, Director General U Min Aye Ko clarified necessary matters and the Union Minister coordinated and fulfilled the needs.

After that, the Union Minister and party inspected the laying of entrance road to the Shan State Director ’s office and coordinated requirements upon the clarification of the responsible officials.
