Ceremony of training completion: Kachin State CM provided equipment to start business

The technical training courses that support livelihoods have been giving as per the fiscal year for the income boosting of rural families and development of MSMEs in Kachin State.

On 23rd October, ceremony of training completion and providing equips to start own business, was held at the training and nurturing hall of State Small Scale Industrials Department. At the occasion, State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan emphasized the ongoing efforts to continuously offer technical training courses that support livelihoods and foster the development of MSME in the state.

He mentioned that during the current courses, specialized technical education was provided, and five promising trainees would be given the necessary equipment to start their own businesses. The Chief Minister urged that in establishing personal businesses, the focus should not be solely on traditional practices but on enhancing creativity and innovation.

This, he said, would not only increase family income but also contribute to the growth and advancement of MSME production within the state.Next, the Chief Minister provided necessary equipment for the basic sewing training and motorcycle repairing training, products made during the training as the practical practice, and certificates of training completion to the ward Committee members and trainees.

Then, the Chief Minister oversaw the products made during the training as the practical practice and necessary equipment for the business displayed in the hall. The Chief Minister and party inspected the water outlet of Inn-Jun Creek into Ayeyaeady River in Sitapu Ward of Myitkyina Township and status of soil deposit for the cultivation of oil crops such as sunflower, canola, Niger seed, gave necessary instruction to make ground inspection of constructing In-Jun Creek sluice gate and plots for oil crops cultivation.

In the morning on 24th October, State Chief Minister accompanied by Chief Justice of State High Court, State Ministers, State Advocate General and State level departmental officials visited Myitkyina Tennis Club, met with the tennis players who are in camping training to compete in the 5th National Sports Festival to be held in December by representing Kachin State and coaches and gave words of encouragements.
