Ceremony of Training Completion: DPM MoPF Union Minister awarded outstanding trainees

The ceremony of completing skill improvement training course (79) opened for the Township Revenue Officers was held at the Internal Revenue Department of the Ministry of Planning and Finance, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 4th August with the attendance of Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planing and Finance U Win Shein.

At the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister said that the Township Revenue Officers need to note the subjects relating to the revenue and take as the work guidelines and make effort to collect the revenues deserved for the country fully without reducing and evasion in accordance with the relevant revenue laws and the tax releasing and tax exemption should be heedful in line with the law. and simple tax system, transperant and modernized tax center is being implemented and the process is needed to the collective effort of all personnel of revenue department including the trainees.

During the training, the laws relating to collect the revenue such as tax administrative law, income tax law, commercial tax law, special commodity tax law, stamp tax law and related legal provisions, directives regarding with the Aung Bar Lay Lottery tax etc.

Next, the Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister awarded the first, second and third prize winners in the training and certificates of training completion. The training was conducted for 8 weeks and attended by 80 trainees from internal revenue department.
