Ceremony of honoring: MGY Region CM gave words of honor

A ceremony of honoring departmental personnel from Magway Region who served the duties in the Typhon Yagi affected regions was held at the hall of Magway Township on 30th October and the Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin gave the words of honor and presented certificate of honor.

Chief Minister U Tint Lwin shared that although the Magway Region experienced minimal impact from Typhoon Ragi on September 10, six other regions and states suffered significant damage. Therefore, officials and staff from three departments in Magway Region were deployed to provide essential assistance in six affected townships within the Union Territory, Naypyitaw, and Mandalay Region.

The Chief Minister expressed pride on behalf of the Magway Region government for the dedication of the departmental officials and staff who extended their support and assistance in these disaster-affected areas. A total of 71 officials and staff from the three departments who provided manpower, supplies, and physical effort to aid the affected areas have been recognized with special appreciation from the Magway Region government.

Following this, the Region  Chief Minister presented certificate of honor to the departmental personnel from Magway Region who served the duties in the Typhon Yagi affected regions and an officer from the Department of medical service extended words of thans on the behalf of the officials and staff. After the ceremony, the departmental personnel were hosted with tea and fresh foods.
