Ceremony of hoisting diamond bud: Kachin State CM attended the ceremony

Kachin State Chief Minister U khet Htein Nan and wife attended and offered the dry provisions to the members of Sangha at the the ceremony of hoisting diamond bud and golden umbrella atop the Tilokamuni Seinyadana Pagoda and consecration ceremony of the pagoda held in Moe Goke Dhamma Yeiktha in Myitkyina in the morning on January 28.

At the ceremony, Chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of the State High Court, Deputy Commander of North Command, Senior Tatmadaw officials, wife of the Commander of North Command, State Ministers and wives, well-wishers and local residents offered the dry provisions, offertories and cash donations and day meal to the members of Sangha.

In the afternoon on January 27, the Chief Minister, State Ministers and officials supported the men football match of winter sports competition and awarded the trophies to the winner teams of men football and women volleyball, it’s reported.
