Ceremony of cash donation: Sagaing Region CM attended the ceremony

Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw and wife, Chief Justice of the Region High Court, Region Ministers and wives attended a ceremony of taking advice from the Venerable Sayadawgyis regarding with the hoisting diamond bud, pennant-shaped vane, tiers of the umbrella and gilding of the Hsu-Taung-Pyae pagoda in Monywa University and cash donation ceremony held at the University in the morning on 28th July.

First, the congregation led by the Chief Minister observed eight precepts administered by the Presiding Sayadaw of Oakkan Tawya monastery in Monywa Township, took the Paritta Suttas recited by the members of Sangha and advices given by the Sayadawgyis, offered the offertories to the members of Sangha and the Chief Minister and wife, Chief Justice of the State High Court, Region Ministers and wives and well-wishers contributed cash donations, took the sermon delivered by Presiding Sayasaw of Yankin monastery of Monywa Township and shard the merits gained.

Next, the Chief Minister and officials gilded the Pennant-shaped vane of the pagoda.

After that, Chief Minister and party also inspected the construction sites of RC two-storey market building of Bandula Market and the construction of 12 buildings which are 80 feet long and 60 feet wide of vegetable wholesale center in Pyi-Htaung-Su Market in Ledi ward, heard the clarifications of the responsible officials and gave necessary instruction, it's reported.
