A centuries-old caravanserai in Turkiye now serves as a cultural space

A centuries-old caravanserai in Turkiye now serves as a cultural space where visitors buy books and enjoy tea. Hasan Pasha Han, a centuries-old Ottoman inn where caravans once rested, has been transformed into a modern cultural space.

The section that once served as a stable for horses and camels was restored in 2008 and turned into a bookstore. The stone building, which has stood for centuries, still retains its grandeur. Warm in winter and cool in summer, the bookstore now welcomes visitors who come not only to buy books but also to enjoy reading while sipping tea.
