Central Body meeting: Central Body Chairman addressed the meeting

State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San, in his capacity as Chairman of the Central Body for Summoning People’s Military Servants, attended the 3/2024 coordination meeting of the central body in Nay Pyi Taw on 2nd April.

In his speech at the meeting, State Administration Council Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San, in his capacity as Chairman of the Central Body for Summoning People’s Military Servants said that altogether 5 meetings regarding the People’s Military Servants have been held and the central body formed the levels of work committees and assigned duties to achieve the missions with momentum, the Chairman and Vice Chairman set the work processes after reviewing the advantages and disadvantages and coordinating with the relevant sectors on the clarifications of the security and border affas ministers and secretaries of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States who are carrying out on the ground.

The finalized draft of Public Military Service By-Law has been sent to the Ministry of Legal Affairs to scrutinize the wordings and make commend on legal factor.

After receiving the suggestions from the Ministry of Legal Affairs, the draft of by-law will be submitted to the Union Government Meeting through the Security, Stability and Rule of Law Committee to seek approval and promulgate it.

The Central Body Chairman als gave necessary instructions to inform to the public extensively through the mass medias to be able to mitigate the concen of the public regarding with the Public Military Service Law.

Next, the Vice Chairman of the People’s Military Servants Summoning Central Body Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy, Air) General Maung Maung Aye gave necessary instructions.  

Then, the members of central body, People’s Military Servants Summoning Committee chairmen of Nay Pyi Taw Council, Regions and States and officials concerned gave suggestions in related sector and the central body chariman coordinated requirements.

After that, Chairman of People’s Military Servants Summoning Central Body SAC member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister Admiral Tin Aung San delivered a speech of conclusion.
