Central African Republic holds key elections

Central African Republic goes to the polls on Sunday with the president, Faustin-Archange Touadéra, seeking a third term. Over two million voters are expected to cast their ballots in the multilevel election to choose the president along with national, regional and municipal lawmakers. Preliminary results for the elections are expected by January 5.
