Centennial Celebration: Engineering Education and Technology Forum

As part of the Centennial Celebration of Myanmar Engineering Education, the Engineering Education and Technology Forum was held at Naypyitaw State Polytechnic University in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

The forum was opened with the keynote speeches by Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Patron of Myanmar Engineering Council Union Minister for Construction U Myo Thant and President of the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific- FEIAP and Retired Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Aung Kyaw Myat. It was followed by a Panel Session and Parallel Session under 6 titles such as "Let’s build together a brighter future of Myanmar with the power of engineering", “the Future of Engineering Education, Role of Engineers for Myanmar’s Sustainable Development”, “Green Energy to support Energy Security”, “Most Advanced Technology Trends” and “Digital Transformation towards the National Development”.

During the forum, Engineering Festival, Porject Show, Product Show,as well as Hackathon and e-sport competition, quiz programmes and engineering battles were held for the interests of students on engineering education.
