Centenary forestry: SAC Chairman graced the centenary forestry celebration

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing delivered a speech at the celebration of centenary forestry held at the convocation hell of Forest and Environmental University (Yayzin), Zayyarthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory in the morning on 26th May.

First, the SAC Council Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, council member Mann Nyein Maung, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Planning And Finance U Win Shein, Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi and Union Minister Dr. Nyunt Pe opened the celebration of centenary forestry by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing unveiled the inscription commemorated centenary forestry by pressing the auto button and sprinkled with scented water.

In his speech, the SAC Chairman said that the responsibility of protecting, preserving and nurturing the forest contributed the human beings and natural ecosystem is paramount imported.

As the university level forestry in Myanmar has reached to 100 Anniversary. celebration such honorable event is the auspicious day very special day. The role of the forestry professionals is crucial.

Myanmar is a country endowed with the abundant natural resources in the region. It has the diversified natural forests, plants, rivers and geographical features from the northernmost Mt. Hkakaborazi to the Adman sea to the south.

And it also possessed the various types of forests. On the world today, the most of the countries are carrying out to change the living style adapted to the environment for the sustainability of the mother earth depending by the human being.

So, it's needed to turn out the competent professionals who have expertise in nature of Green Economy, Blue Economy and Nature-Based Solitions and are applicable in the practical field.

And the SAC Chairman Prime Minister wished that May the forest and environmental university which conducted excellent performances be perpetual from the centenary celebration to many years to come.

Next, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing provided 10 million Kyats cash of honor in commemorating the 100 Anniversary of forest and environmental university to the rector Dr. Khin Maung Hsint.

Then, the SAC Chairman awarded first prize winners in university level, high school level poem, article, puzzle and essay contests.

The Vice Chairman Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win awarded the second prize winners and the SAC Jont-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo to third prize winners.

Afterward, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and attendees enjoyed the songs and performances and the artistes and students were honored with flower basket. Then, the SAC Chairman and attendees posed for documentary photo.

Later, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister and party viewed round the display booths of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
