Census Enumeration: Training courses provide for census takers

Township Level Training Course for Census Auditors and Census Takers is being conducted in Tatkone Township of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area.

Chairman of the Central Census Commission Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing on Friday visited the training venues and met with the trainees. He urged all to conduct systematic census enumeration based on the experience and knowledge gained from the training courses. He then observed the training sessions, lecturing the census enumeration process.

During his tour, the Union Minister visited the flood relief camps, opened at Ngwe Taung Tawya Pariyatti Monastery, and provided relief items to the affected people. He then proceeded to the Assembly Hall of Zeyathiri Township where the training course for census enumeration is being conducted.

He urged the trainees to make cooperative efforts for the success of the census enumeration process, which is the crucial step for the nation’s future. The 2024 Population and Housing Census Enumeration is scheduled to take place from October 1st to 15th all across the nation. Those involved in the enumeration process have been provided training courses from September 17th to 28th.
