Celebrity quits iCon Group, denies earning Bt100m from company

One of the celebrities linked to the iCon Group e-commerce company, Peechaya, admitted today that she was a communications director for the company and one of their product presenters, but has now stopped working for them.

She denied having earned the speculated 100 million baht while working for the company for about a year. Peechaya offered an apology to any investors who have suffered losses from their dealings with iCon.

Meanwhile, secretary-general of the People’s Lawyer Foundation, has filed a complaint with the Central Investigation Bureau against six executives of iCon Group, accusing them of defrauding the public and money laundering.
