Celebrating Myanmar Day: Myanmar's presence at Expo 2023 Doha

Myanmar is participating in Expo 2023 Doha in Qatar, supervised by the Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization under the Ministry of Commerce. A Myanmar Day, took place on Saturday at Expo House, with the attendance of the Director General of Myanmar Trade Promotion Organization, the Secretary-General of Expo 2023 Doha, and the Commissioners-General of participating countries.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthems of Myanmar and Qatar, accompanied by the hoisting of the state flags of both nations. Attendees were treated to captivating Myanmar cultural dances.

The Director General, leading the Myanmar delegation, delivered a speech, followed by a tour of both the Myanmar Pavilion and the Qatar Pavilion. Expo 2023 Doha, spanning six months from October 1st, 2023, to March 31st, 2024, is a platform for nations to showcase their achievements. Representing Myanmar Pavilion is the Treasure Cap Company, highlighting agricultural products, gems and jewelry, Myanma-origin orchids, and marine products.
