Cash Provisions: Assistance for displaced persons in Rakhine State

A ceremony to provide cash assistance to the displaced persons in Rakhine State was held in Sittwe on Thursday. Chief Minister U Htein Lin attended the ceremony and urged officials to made systematic records of the displaced persons for data accuracy.

During the event, over 262 million kyat from the National Disaster Management Fund were provided to more than 13,000 displaced persons for January.
