Cash Assistance: Provisions for the displaced persons in Sagaing Region

A ceremony to provide cash assistance to displaced persons was held at Shwe Se Myine Hall in Kanbalu on Sunday. Sagaing Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, accompanied by officials, attended the ceremony and made clarification on the purpose providing cash assistance to the displaced persons.

During the event, over 78-million-kyats cash assistance were provided to 3,921 displaced persons. These financial provisions were assisted from the National Disaster Management Fund to the displaced persons who take temporary shelter in Kantbalu, Kawlin and YeOo districts due to the terrorist attacks.
