Cash and kind donation: Cash and kind donations for flood-affected people

On Monday, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement held a cash donation ceremony for flood-affected areas due to Typhoon Yagi in the South China Sea.

During the ceremony, Union Minister Dr. Soe Win received a cash donation of over 176 million kyats, basic foodstuff and drinking water bottles from well-wishers and presented certificates of honor in return.

Union Minister for the Ministry-1 at the Office of Chairman of the State Administration Council Admiral Moe Aung and his family donated breakfast and lunch boxes, instant noodle packs, and soft drinks to military personnel, Myanmar Police Force and Fire Brigade members working on rehabilitation along PinLaung and Pobbathiri Roads, through the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.

Since September 14, SKYNET Media Shwe ThanLwin Company has also donated 10,000 lunch boxes daily to flood victims in Nay Pyi Taw through the Ministry. In a similar effort, SKYNET Media Shwe ThanLwin Company has been donating 10,000 lunch boxes daily to flood victims in Nay Pyi Taw through the Ministry since September 14.
