








Union Minister for Education Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the first Career Fair & Career Forum 2025 held at the main building of the Naypyitaw State Academy on August 25.
The event was opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Union Minister Dr. Chaw Chaw Sein, Deputy Ministers Dr. Zaw Myint and U Nay Myo Hlaing, Acting Rector Dr. Nu Nu Lwin, and Pro-Rector Dr. Soe Soe Aung of the Naypyitaw State Academy.
In her speech, the Union Minister highlighted the benefits of internships. She said that the forum is a key opportunity for the rector and teachers to help students secure internships, which allow students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience, develop collaborative skills, and network with professionals in their fields.
The Union Minister added that the forum also benefits employers, who can assess the students' skills and connect with and select promising employees for their workplaces in advance.
Afterward, Acting Rector Dr. Nu Nu Lwin presented the Union Minister and Deputy Ministers with a commemorative gift. The Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, and Acting Rector then presented certificates of appreciation to the companies and organizations that participated in the event before taking a group photo. They also toured the various booths at the career fair.
The second part of the event began in the afternoon. U Tun Tun Naing, the Chairman and Group CEO of Blue Ocean Investment Co., Ltd., gave a talk on "Shaping the Future Opportunities." This was followed by a panel discussion on "From Campus to Career." Acting Rector Dr. Nu Nu Lwin then presented certificates of appreciation to the speakers and panelists of the forum.
The first Career Fair & Career Forum 2025 featured more than 20 booths, including from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, trade companies, banks, hotels and tourism services, and educational services, as well as businesses specializing in laboratory and scientific equipment and educational supplies.
