Capture of terrorist supporters: Terrorist supporters captured in Mandalay

CRPH, NUG and their subordinate terrorist groups are intentionally committing various brutal acts such as killing innocent civilians including civil service personnel, burning down the public buildings and launching bomb attacks to disrupt the country’s stability, to instill fear among the public and destroy government mechanisms.

The terrorist groups named Mandalay PDF and No-More Dictatorship are illegally transporting various weapons and ammunition by vehicle, heading to Mandalay through Kyar Inn Seik Gyi of Kayin State, according to the reports of responsible local residents. In the evening of 4th February, 2 suspects named Thida Soe @ Ma Soe and Toe Nyunt were arrested in Minde E Kin Ward of Aung Myay Thar Zan Township along with 5 SIG SAUER pistols, 1 ANSAR pistol, 2 BLOW pistols, 16 various ammunition boxes, 1 grenade, 100 rounds of 9mm bullets and 200 rounds of Point-380 ammunition hidden in an old car gearbox.

According to the confession of suspects, K Khaing @ KK was captured at Pyi Gyi Yan Lone Ward in Aung Myay Thar Zan Township. Following the confession of arrested suspect Thida Soe, she is a member of the NLD party and was a leader in the protests in Mandalay. In 2022, She also attended a 1-month terrorist training course at KIA Insurgent Group in Laiza.

During this training period, she became familiar with accomplice Myomin Yan Naing and joined the terrorist group No-More Dictatorship-NMD. It’s revealed that Thida Soe conducted terrorist support activities together with arrested suspects K Khaing and Toe Nyunt.

Therefore, they have been taken effective actions and to arrest suspects, those who are involved in terrorism and other remaining accomplices. Information can be given secretly to the relevant authorities on terrorists and on possession and transport of weapons/ammunition to be able to protect the country’s stability and peace.
