Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe on Wednesday addressed the opening of capacity building training for projects to create medium manufacturing enterprises and to increase the income of rural families.

In his address, the Union Minister said that the Ministry will provide necessary assistance to those who complete the training to run business. Concerned officials and trainees from 221 villages have to share what they’ve learnt in this training in the villages. Project officials have to carry out project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) to resolve the difficulties on the ground and for sustainable development.

The Union Minister also called for cooperation on the successful implementation of the projects. This theocratical and practical capacity building training covers courses including preparing and keeping financial records, market research, projects awareness, food safety, trademark copyright and taxation.

It’s reported that in this fiscal year, the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development will help 1,105 persons to run businesses in 221 villages after the training.
