





Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn emphasized the need to understand and stay informed about the current global and Myanmar political, military, and economic situations. He stressed the importance of understanding the nature of the media, distinguishing true news, and sharing accurate information with the public.
The Union Minister made these remarks forthe staff officers from the Shan State, Mandalay, Sagaing, Magway, Bago, Yangon, and Ayeyarwady Regions' Information and Public Relations Departments who are in Nay Pyi Taw to attend a capacity building training. He encouraged them to stay informed about the current situations so they can effectively respond and perform their duties.
Additionally, the Union Minister emphasized the need for employees to develop strong thinking, beliefs, and a positive mindset to meet the ministry’s objectives. He highlighted the importance of improving individual skills to ensure the successful completion of departmental responsibilities. He acknowledged the ongoing training programs offered by the Information and Public Relations Department and stressed that employees should not only enhance their hard skills but also develop soft skills. He encouraged continuous learning and the adoption of innovative, up-to-date methods to achieve the ministry's goals and succeed in their duties.
