Capacity building training: MoALI DM gave an opening speech

The opening ceremony of the Capacity Building (Officers) Training Course No. 2, organized by the Department of Livestock Research, was held at the training hall of the Department of Agriculture Researchon October 21st.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation, Dr. Aung Gyi, along with Directors General, Rectors, departmental officials, instructors, and trainees.

During the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi delivered an opening speech, explaining that the course aims to enhance the capacity of staff from the Department of Livestock Research, including those working in administrative, planning, financial devisions, and researchers specializing in terrestrial and aquatic animals. The goal is to improve their administrative and research abilities and to further develop human resources in these sectors.

Following the Deputy Minister's speech, the Chairman of the Course Implementation Committee provided an explanation regarding the opening of the course, and discussions continued as part of the training.

The capacity-building course, which lasts for one week, is attended by 14 Deputy Directors, 3 Research Officers, and 13 Staff Officers from the Department of Livestock Research, according to reports.
