Capacity building training: MIFER opened capacity building training

The opening ceremony of capacity building training (1/2023) for the officers and staff members of the departments under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations was held at the meeting hall of the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on January 23rd.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister said that the ministry is implementing for the national interest of the country in accordance with the three economic objectives. The officials and staff members should understand Myanmar Investment Law (2016) and by-laws as well as enacting that Myanmar Investment Law (2016) with the combination of Myanmar Citizens Investment Law and Foreign Investment Law.

This capacity building training course is opened with the aims at having more knowledge on the investment and the subjects relating to the foreign economic relations as well as having competency in the internal administration, knowing and complying the public service personnel law and by-laws and the uplifting the leadership ability.

Next, the deputy minister gave the necessary instructions. The capacity building training (1/2023) for the officers and staff members of the departments under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations is being attended by 60 trainees in person or via online and the training course will take place for a month from 23rd January to 7th February, 2023, it’s learnt.
