





The capacity building training course for District head officers of the departments under the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development was held at the collective meeting hall of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on 22nd October and attended by Union Minister U Hla Moe, Deputy Minister U Myint Soe, permanent secretary, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, District head officers from the Regions and States.
Union Minister U Hla Moe delivered the opening speech, emphasizing that the ministry has continuously worked towards the development of rural areas and the social and economic improvement of rural communities. He stated that the ministry strives to implement its objectives, goals, policies, and processes effectively.
To make office management more efficient, improve oversight of junior staff, and enhance leadership capabilities, the ministry organizes training programs like this one.The training will cover key areas such as project management, human resources management, auditing and supervision, financial procedures, tender processes, and how to avoid audit objections.
It will also focus on maintaining transparency and preventing corruption by providing guidance on best practices. The minister encouraged the trainees to ensure that their work aligns with the policies, processes, and existing laws established by the ministry.
He urged them to apply the knowledge gained from the training to their daily tasks and to collaborate with other departments for better coordination. He concluded by advising the trainees to thoroughly study the course content and make practical use of it in their duties.
Next, the documentary group photo was taken followed the clarification of Deputy Minister U Myint Soe regarding the formation of the Ministry, vision and objectives and values of the Ministry.Then, the Director General of the Department of Rural Development gave a lecture on implementations for the sustainable development of rural areas.
