Capacity Building Training: Digitizing MSME businesses in Mekong-Lancang Region

The closing ceremony of the capacity-building training on digitizing MSME businesses in the Mekong-Lancang region took place in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.

Vice Chairman of the MSME Development Work Committee and Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, emphasizing that the training provided essential principles of the digital economy.

He added that the government is actively working towards the implementation of a digital economy system in collaboration with the private sector and academic institutions. He urged the trainees to continue their efforts in the digitalization process, building upon the knowledge gained from the training.

During the ceremony, completion certificates were presented to the trainees. Under the Mekong-Lancang Special Fund, the Ministry of Industry conducted a 5-day training program on digitizing MSME businesses.
