Capacity Building: Training courses for electrical engineers

The opening ceremony of Electricity Sub Power Station Building/Operation/ Maintenance and Repairing Course 1/2024 and Engineer Management Training Course 1/2024 of the Ministry of Electric Power was held at the Central Training Center of the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday morning. 

The ceremony was attended by the Union Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun, Deputy Minister, Director Generals, Departmental heads, trainers and trainees. At the ceremony, Union Minister made an opening speech saying that the courses will be conducted for 5 weeks theoretically and practically and study tour with the aims to turn out the skillful employees and increase the capacity of the personnel of electrical technicians in the Ministry.  

He urged trainees to carry out as a good electrical engineer for the department, public and country with the skills and knowledge gained from the courses. The Electricity Sub Power Station Building/Operation/ Maintenance and Repairing Course 1/2024 with a total of 25 trainees, and Engineer Management Training Course 1/2024 with a total of 24 trainees will take place for 5 weeks.

Then, the Union Minister and officials inspected the perennial and seasonal crop plantations planted by divisions of the departments under the supervision of the Ministry for the well-fare of the employees in Nay Pyi Taw Central Training School compound and gave necessary instructions.
