Capacity Building: Training completion ceremony, and Office inspection

Completion ceremony of Refresher Course (3/2023) and Capacity Enhancement training course (1/2023) for the staff from the Ministry of Electric Power was held on Friday at the Central Training School in Nay Pyi Taw.

Speaking on the occasion, Union Minister U Nyan Tun stressed that the refresher course was conducted for 8 weeks with 44 trainees and basic computer lessons were provided during the training.

Likewise, the capacity enhancement training course was conducted for 2 weeks theoretically and practically including field trips with 50 trainees. All the trainees are urged to apply the lessons they have learnt in their respective workplace effectively and make exerted efforts to become excellent civil servants who can contribute to the nation. The ceremony concluded after presenting awards to the outstanding trainees and completion certificates to the trainees.

Then, the Union Minister accompanied by departmental officials visited the Electrical Power Engineering Office in Ottarathiri Township and inspected the power consumption and distribution, meter bill collection, providing assistances and conducting preventive measures on power losses.

The Union Minister urged officials to have systematic maintenance of the equipment for power line and power plants, and to make fire safety measures.
