Capacity Building Seminar: Experience Sharing Session by MIFER

The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations organized the 30th edition of its Friday Talk on September 22nd, with the topic being "Sharing Experiences from the Capacity Building Seminar on Bilateral and Multilateral Economic Cooperation Agreements."

Union Minister Dr. Kan Zaw delivered the opening speech, emphasizing that government officials and representatives from the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industries have been attending workshops and seminars organized by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce since the beginning of this year.

To promote investments, it is crucial to provide measures such as investment promotion and protection, as well as investment facilitation, not only for foreign investors within the country but also for Myanmar citizens investing in other countries.

He urged all attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of the procedures for bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation agreements. Following the opening speech, there was a sharing session with active participation from the attendees.
