Capacity Building Seminar: Efforts for achieving high passing rate in Magwe Region

A capacity building seminar for achieving high passing rate in 2024 matriculation exams in Magwe Region was held on Saturday.

Chief Minister U Tint Lwin discussed that Magwe Region achieved 44.54% passing rate in the pre-matriculation exams held from 15th to 20th January. The region achieved over 75% passing rate in 2023, and expects to gain 76% passing rate for 2024.

The Chief Minister urged all to make strenuous efforts to achieve the targeted goals in the remaining period of time. Myanmar initiated KG+12 education system in 2016-2017 academic year, and the new syllabus for all KG +12 Grades have been reached in 2023-2024 academic year. The 2024 matriculation exam is the very first exams of the new syllabus.
