Capacity Building: Refresher Course No. 23 for faculty members opened

The opening ceremony of special refresher course no (23) for the faculty members of the universities and colleges was held at Civil Service Academy (Upper Myanmar) on 9th October along with attendance of Chairman of Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw.

In his opening speech, Chairman of Union Civil Service Board U Aung Thaw said that the role of faculty members in universities and colleges who have to put efforts into focusing the development of human resources is crucial.

And the political system of the state is being the genuined and disciplined multi party democracy system according to the section 7 of the constitution so that the civil service staff including the faculty members are needed to be free form party politics, and in section 26 (A) of the constitution firmly enacted Civil Services personnel shall be free from party politics as basic principal of the state.

Finally, he urged the faculty members to be free from party politics and to carry out the educational objectives and duties steadily. Totalling 391 trainees from Ministry of Education joined the 5-week course which will last from 9th of October to 10th of November.
