




With the aims to develop human resources and enhance employees’ performance of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations (MIFER), the 25th batch of Knowledge Sharing Programme (KSP) Friday Talk was held with the title “Corporate Governance and Capacity Building of Independent Directors” with the attendance of Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr. Kan Zaw.
In his opening remarks, the Union Minister expressed his belief that this program can bring benefits to employees as the topics discussed are comprehensive and knowledgeable, MIFER is a ministry that plays a vital role for the economic development of the country.
The employees must understand and follow the rules and regulations regarding the economic sector. As the government is actively working for the development of the private sector, it is necessary to understand the role of the companies.
It's also needed to understand the importance of management sector, the fairness and accountability of the directors and the transparency of the companies. At the program, attendees made discussions on “Corporate Governance and Capacity Building of Independent Directors”. A total of 120 attendess joined the program both personally and virtually.
