Capacity Building: On-Job Training Conducted For UEC Staff

An On-Job Training for Capacity Building of the Deputy Staff Officers to be assigned at the Union Election Commission Office and Sub-commission offices was opened at Transit Camp (YwaTaw) in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

UEC Chairman U Thein Soe made a speech during the opening ceremony, He said the UEC is the major organization that has to take responsibility for the elections.

If there were mistakes in the action and undertakings of the commission, it will have impact on the dignity of the commission and the nation as well. He urged all to be skillful in their assigned duties to avoid any mistakes, and to make known and preparations on the tasks that will have to be carried out during the elections. The training will be conducted from 25th August to 5th September.
