Capacity Building : Closing ceremony of English Proficiency Pilot Course

The closing ceremony of “Staff Capacity Building on English Proficiency Pilot Course” was held at the National Library in Nay Pyi Taw on Monday.

The course at the Department of Historical Research and National Library was opened starting from the 3rd of May to improve the English language skills of staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture. The ceremony was attended by Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, concern officials, teachers, trainees and invited guests.

At the ceremony, the Union Minister said that the course was successful and trainees have reached a certain level. This course also covered international producers, experiences sharing, international relations and cooperation. He added that Myanmar will host meetings of the 24th ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community Council (ASCC) soon.

The Union Minister also urged attendees to work the best at ASCC meetings. And, the graduated trainees performed their talent and the Union Minister presented certificates of completion to the trainees.
