Capacity Building : Agriculture and Leadership Training Center

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation U Min Naung visited the DOA-OISCA Agriculture and Leadership Training Center in Pyaw Bwe on 5th February. The training center, implemented with the support of the Organization for Industrial, Spiritual, and Cultural Advancements (OISCA) International (Japan), aims to conduct training courses for farmers and youths in Myanmar.

The areas of training include paddy cultivation without the use of chemicals, livestock breeding, and foodstuff manufacturing. Its objective is to nurture individuals with a strong drive for achievement, foster teamwork spirit and understanding, and train farmers to become effective leaders who can contribute to the development of the region. A total of 430 trainees have completed courses at the center.
