Canines catch waves at World Dog Surfing Championships in California

Dogs in wetsuits ride waves as the World Dog Surfing Championships kicks off in Pacifica, California. The dogs, trained to surf, ride the waves as part of the competition.

The owner of a surfer dog which participated in the event said it’s the second event for his dog which is only three years old. His dog started surfing just last year around this time.  The owner said, they are just looking to have a bunch of fun as his dog loves ocean and fetching.
