Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has survived a second non-confidence motion in parliament in as many weeks with 211 lawmakers opposing and 120 in favor.
The vote came in the wake of heightened scrutiny from the opposition, particularly from Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre, who is eager to capitalize following the recent collapse of the coalition agreement between the Liberals and the New Democratic Party (NDP).
