Canada's Trudeau calls for 'immediate ceasefire' in Lebanon

French President Emmanuel Macron and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Thursday expressed their shared vision, from working towards "open and decarbonized" economies, and promoting the French language, to calling for a ceasefire in Lebanon. The two nations also announced they would strengthen their defense partnership.
