Visitors gather to get their share of dried freshwater clams at a town in southern Cambodia, which is celebrating the new year by handing the delicacies out for free. Around 3 tonnes of clams were put out to dry in the sun on tables stretching a kilometre in length.

The event in Kampong Cham province was organized by local authorities to celebrate the annual Khmer New Year, which takes place between April 14 and 16, and traditionally features games, water fights, and visits to pagodas.
