Calls for Syrian medical staff to return home

The Syrian National University Hospital is implementing to rebuild its healthcare system, making an urgent appeal for medical personnel who fled the country to return and help reconstruct Syria’s healthcare infrastructure.

 The hospital administration highlighted severe shortages in medical equipment, technical infrastructure and healthcare staff.

Hospital official said most machines are not working, and technical infrastructure is inadequate. The official also called all friendly countries and international organizations to help Syrian hospitals.
