Calls for Donations: Provision for flood victims in Ayeyawady Region

The government has called for cash and kind donations to support people affected by flooding caused by a breach in the Ngawun embankment in Laymyethna Township of Ayeyawady Region.

Donations can be made through regional and state governments, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in Nay Pyi Taw, or the Disaster Management Department's central warehouses in Yangon and Mandalay. It is learnt that details of the official donation ceremony, including the date, time, and venue, will be announced later.
