California voters cast ballots in primary election

San Francisco voters cast their ballots in Tuesday's primary elections, choosing a variety of state and local officeholders and weighing the recall of the city's controversial district attorney.

Liz Nguyen, San Francisco voter said "I just feel like the city needs to do a better job of providing help for them, but also looking out for our safety of the people who live and work in San Francisco."

California voters are choosing candidates for governor, attorney general, U.S. senator and a variety of local races.
