Business Registration: SSID approves 13 types of businesses registration

The Small-scale Industries Department approved 13 types of businesses registration form including food, consumer goods, raw materials, agriculture, electrical appliance and clothing.   

The registered businesses can get a lot of benefits in technology and financial supplies and they can showcase their products at the trade fairs and competitions organized by the Small Scale Industries Department. 

Win Bo, Head, Small-Scale Industries Department (Mandalay) said “For the registration process, business owners need to fill the relevant information in the application form, 3 copies of ID card, their license photos, and recommendation letter from the ward administration. The foodstuff business owners need to register their business and to do the laboratory test for their food and consumer goods. For the new businesses, they will be exempted from income tax for 3 years and all registered businesses can participate in exhibitions and expos organized by the Small-Scale Industries Department.”

The Department also helps the business owners who want to enter international market by cooperating with the foreign organizations and relevant departments.
