Business Networking Party: Myanmar Alumni From Universities In Thailand-AMAUT Hosted

The Association of Myanmar Alumni from Universities in Thailand-AMAUT hosted a business networking party on Thursday in Yangon.

The AMAUT Business Networking Party 2019 was held with the support of Royal Thai Embassy and Thai Business Association of Myanmar. The event was dedicated to enhance the opportunity for Myanmar alumni in expending business network and improving professional career. H.E. Mrs. Suphatra Srimaitreephithak, Ambassador of Thailand to Myanmar, joined and gave welcome speech at the event. The president of Mr.Moe Myint Kyaw remarked opening speech.

Secretary in General, AMAUT, Kaung Zan said “The event is aimed to share the business opportunity for Myanmar Alumni because the Thai investors also come to the event and our alumni can connect and share the job opportunity and business communication. We are doing business matching with Thai businesspersons and engaging with both public and private Universities in Thailand.”

There were LOI signing between AMAUT and Chiang Mai University and it was for the srudents who would like to attend for Bachelor of Public Policy and Ph.D.

Director, School of Public Policy, Chiang Mai University, Dr.Ora-Orn Poocharoen said “ … Because as the Chiang Mai University, we just open the school of Public Policy and we trained the students for the public policy and public administration for mater and Ph.D. So from this signing ceremony, we want to promote more Myanmar students who would like to work in public sectors, NGO or civil society to come and study to our new program in Chiang Mai University…”

AMAUT, officially organized in 2016, has already held the Education Fair 2019 in Mandalay for the academic students who would like to study in Thai Universities cooperating 20 Universities from Thailand.
